When home care is not enough and a nursing home is far too much
Residential Care is the middle that most families do not know exists. Our residents keep the freedoms of everyday life while knowing the help they need for daily tasks is right there, at any hour.
Where it sits
The step between staying home and a nursing home
Missouri licenses residential care facilities separately from skilled nursing facilities. Knowing which one you are looking at changes everything about the cost, the feel and the day.
Staying at home with help
Works until it does not. The usual breaking points are medications, meals, falls, and the isolation that arrives quietly behind them.
Residential Care at Autumn Ridge
Your own apartment and your own schedule, with nursing services, medication management and associates on site 24 hours a day.
Skilled nursing
A clinical setting for round-the-clock medical care. More care than most people need, at a cost to match, and a very different daily life.
Not sure which one your situation calls for? Describe it and we will tell you straight, including when the answer is that we are not the right fit.

Therapy on site
Physical, occupational and speech therapy without leaving the building
Recovery usually fails on logistics, not on effort. Three appointments a week across the county is a lot to ask of a family, so our therapy program runs in-house. The people delivering it also see how a resident is doing at dinner and at bingo, which turns out to matter.
I need a lot of assistance with my medications and doctor appointments and the care and concern at Autumn Ridge is unmatched.
My cousin lives at Autumn Ridge. It has been a god send for her as well as our family. They have been so helpful guiding us and recommending insurance options, wellness checks, transportation. We are blessed to have found such a place for our loved one.
